Poem: Zane's Song

Zaneable Zin has a dimpled chin and hair the color of sunlight; his father's eyes, and his mother's chin and his own sweet smile for a night light. He has promise and poise and a room full of toys, and a sailing ship up on the shelf; outside his window a Cardinal sings to welcome this happy young elf. Zaneable Zin, your story begins while your mother hums you a tune, and your father sits by with love in his eyes, holding a silver spoon.
