Poem: The Labyrinth

As the moon, devoid of light,
spills light upon the shadowed earth,
so do I,
reaching and luminous,
give back that holiness
which thrums within my soul.

Help me to trust enough
to venture unarmed
beyond what has been named,
on this moonlit path
which circles beneath the stars.

Grant me words to speak
of that which is beyond description:
unfathomable and unencumbered Light
compassionate Peace,
the strength and power of Love
which burns away falsity and fear.

Let me be as moonlight,
shining and reflective,
                                                               pushing back the darkness.
