Haiku for You, for Fun

Cold wind hurries past
falling clouds and leaves
   yellow rose in bloom.

                  ~

      Beneath deep wrinkles
the soul burns, and love still lives.
       See my shining eyes.

                 ~

 Black-capped chickadee,
singing songs of frost and snow,
where is your red scarf?
       .
                  ~

     Rain drops on green leaves,
did you once roar down mountains,
     have you kissed the whale?

                ~

  Moon smudge behind clouds
here I stand, wishing for stars
   white owl chastises.

 ~

Warm stew, open door
music skipping 'round the floor
leave your cares and come.

~

Wax-wing, still as stone
watches the fox pass beneath,
snow is purple stained.
